Finally, Real Ice Cream in Hardin Valley
Hardin Valley waited a long time for good ice cream.
We heard it constantly while we were building the place — from neighbors, from people walking past the paper on the windows, from anyone who found out what was going in. Everybody had the same story. Great neighborhood, growing fast, nowhere to get a real scoop without driving across town.
So that's what we built. Lolli & Bobo's is a locally owned ice cream shop at 10914 Spring Bluff Way, right here in Hardin Valley, and we opened it because this neighborhood deserved better than an afterthought freezer case.
What you'll find when you walk in
Twenty-eight-plus flavors, rotating weekly. Waffle cones we press fresh in the shop all day long — not shipped in, not sitting in a box since last spring. Shakes, malts, floats, banana splits, and a sundae menu deep enough that regulars are still working their way through it.
And a play area. That one wasn't an accident either.
We wanted a place where a parent could actually sit down and eat their own ice cream before it melted. Where you could meet a friend and stay a while instead of eating in the car. Most of our best reviews mention the same thing in different words — the kids didn't want to leave. We take that as a win, though we understand it complicates the drive home.
The ice cream itself
We serve Chocolate Shoppe ice cream out of Madison, Wisconsin. It's super-premium — 14% butterfat, and very little air whipped into it. That's the whole reason it tastes the way it does, and it's a longer story than fits here. We wrote it up separately if you want the details.
We also hold the only Chocolate Shoppe contract within 150 miles. If you want it in East Tennessee, this is where it is.
